The Moraine Experience

At Camp Moraine, your camper can expect to learn how to make fires and friends, try archery and wood whittling, and explore drama and the arts. But camp is much more than that. At Moraine, campers and counselors work together, learn new skills, and build an honest, caring and respectful community where all individuals grow.

The heart of our programs is entrenched in developing a lifelong love of learning, gaining confidence in ones own abilities, and fostering the skills to develop strong relationships and communities. Our programs utilize our natural surroundings and require a can-do attitude, cooperation and age appropriate independence.

Activities

We can espouse philosophy and the advantages of camp until the cows come home. But at the end of the day, camp is about having fun, and we do that by developing purposeful activities that fall into three categories; Art, Nature, and Movement. Although we can’t guarantee any specific program on any given week, what we can promise is that all campers will explore exciting activities within all three of our program types, providing a holistic experience that allows them to learn about their world, explore their creative outlets and get a healthy dose of physical activity. While at camp, your camper may get involved in…
